Support to a great act of historical recovery

Support to a great act of historical recovery

Mr. Mariano Veiga, President of the Management Consortium and on behalf of all the members of the Consortium, was present in the inauguration act of the Historical Recovery Room "Eduardo Depietri", in the land of the ex railway that had its name. The work was carried out by the Culture Office of the Town Council that asked for the support of the Consortium and obtained it due to the importance of the project. The inauguration was carried out in the new access to the port. The little room is built on the basis of the old chimney of the neighborhood that has the same name where two stretches of the air vent tunnels converge. This place has plaques and images that recall the history of the Distillery “La Estrella”, the Depietri Railways and Elevators and the Port.
